Private Yoga Sessions

I(Kate) offer private 1:1 yoga packages for the person with special accommodations or the person who would like to gain experience and create a solid yoga foundation before joining group classes. If you’re interested in private sessions, fill out the form below and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Class descriptions:

Slow Vinyasa Flow with Kate:

This Vinyasa-based Slow Flow keeps a focus on a low heart rate and controlled breath. After starting with our breath, we’ll slowly work into strong movement, the level of challenge being completely up to each practitioner. After movement and flow this class leaves ample time for flexibility and savasana.

Options for beginner, intermediate and advanced practitioners offered.

Strong Vinyasa Flow with Kate:

My favorite style of yoga is strong and powerful because through a strong practice, yoga can reveal ability and resilience you never knew you had, and this physical strength eventually translates to every area of your life off the mat making you a more balanced, consistent and whole person. This Vinyasa-based Strong Flow will ignite your inner fire. As always, there will be options to modify down and this class is accessible to all but, come to class expecting to be challenged.

On Thursday evenings come to my Strong Vinyasa Flow with the thermostat set to a warm but not extreme 80*F. :)

Options for beginner, intermediate and advanced practitioners offered.

All Levels Vinyasa Power with Kenzi:

This all levels flow class blends the playful with the alignment based - harmonizing structured, guided movement with the sweetness of allowing breath and your inner intelligence to be your guide. In this class we will explore new things as we work up a sweat, warming the body from the inside out. The biggest goal is to stay present and in your body, one breath at a time. Practitioners will always be encouraged to have fun and go at their own pace!

Free Recovery Yoga with Kenzie:

This will be a class dedicated to healing the relationship between mind and body for the survivors of complex trauma involving abuse, addiction, and all those living with PTSD.

This class will be aimed toward safely experimenting with having a body. In this framework we can experiment with: breathing, moving, strengthening, stretching, and resting

This class will be set up so that students will know that they are in control over what they are doing with their bodies at all times.

The teacher will be there to provide safe, professional, and helpful guidance to focus on particular dynamics (ie what muscles you are using, the sensations of feeling your feet on the ground, and what it feels like to breathe)

This is a class for all backgrounds and body types who are curious/ interested in gently exploring being in their bodies in a safe space of healing.

“The fact is, all of us are living with the invisible wounds of some kind of war. Yoga helps you to let go of the things that don’t serve you anymore.”

– Dan Nevins, yoga ambassador & US Army veteran

Yin with Jacquetta:

Yin is a slow, meditative practice, where we hold poses for longer periods of time, becoming still. This stillness creates a therapeutic stress on the joints and connective tissues allowing the body to increase circulation, and improve flexibility over time. Once we settle in, we focus on the breath. Releasing stress, calming the mind and tapping into the parasympathetic nervous system where we rest and repair. The breath becomes the meditation, clearing out the chatter in your mind, making room for peace, release, and inspiration. Wrap up your week in bliss mode, breathing life and healing into your bodies, minds and spirits.

Restorative Yoga with Bee:

Wear your jammies and prepare to spend time with your feet up and move through the body in supported postures. We have blankets, bolsters, pillows, and a soft floor to relax into as you find your breath. Then, allow yourself to move into stillness. Release your body to restore from the stressors that life’s adventures bring.

Steady Flow with Bee:

This steady flow is all about taking an hour out of your Friday morning, enjoying the chance to move through your body, engage muscles and hold space while finding a focused breath. A chance to find calm!

Power Flow with Trishten:

Join Trishten for 60 minutes of heated, dynamic flow yoga. This energetic style of yoga will give opportunity to stretch, strengthen, move and breathe with intention. As with all practices offered, students are encouraged to modify and vary their practice as needed. This Practice is suitable for all skill levels.

Slow Flow with Trishten:

Slow Flow class is intended for those who want to take their practice at a slower, more intentional pace. Focus of Slow Flow is on body alignment and mechanics, bringing attention to one’s own needs such as strength building, mobility, movement post injury, or anyone who enjoys a more adaptive and modified practice. All skill levels welcome.

Mastering the Inner Gaze: Group meditation with Raleigh

A supportive community experience of study, discussion and practice. Explore and foster new states of mental, emotional and somatic well being through traditional Yogic practices of concentration and meditation. Our activities and discussions are non-denominational and open to all levels.

Moon Circles with Kari:

Moon circles are held during the full and new moon phases. They include guided meditation, intention setting, rituals(corresponding with the moon’s phase and astrological sign), and community.

Yoga + Live Music:

Yoga + Live Music is a 75 minute complete yoga practice with breath work, movement that will strengthen and stretch your body from head to toe, and ample time for meditation/savasana at the end. All the while you’ll be serenaded by instrumental guitar with looping effects. Aromatherapy included. This class is a treat! Join us.

Options for beginner, intermediate and advanced practitioners offered.

Yoga changed my life…

I started practicing Yoga as a form of recovery and to restrengthen my core after breaking my back. I also hoped to lose weight. I had no idea that a daily yoga practice was going to give me this and so much more. Never having been athletic before starting yoga, this practice gave me mind-body connection. Dealing with a messy mind for most of my adulthood, this practice gave me calm, serenity-of-mind and freedom from anxiety. Coming into it with a broken body, I hoped to heal. I healed and then some; I am stronger than I’ve ever been.

I offer Vinyasa Yoga at differing levels so that anyone can utilize my services. If you've never tried yoga before, I will be able to help you start from the basics and build a strong foundation for a long-lasting, sustainable practice. If you’ve got some experience and want to get stronger, I can hold you accountable to a regular practice aligned with your personal goals. If you would like to experience how yoga can make you strong, I offer power-style yoga classes that are more fitness-centered. And if you’d like to use yoga as a supplement to your normal exercise routine, for added flexibility or better recovery, I can help you with that, too.

I can’t wait to share this practice with you.
